After arriving in London after 24 hours on a plane, I dragged myself out the apartment door to grab some shots of the Tower Bridge at sunset. Unfortunately the weather did not co-operate and the sunset fizzled out. On the way back to the tube station I did stumble across this interesting scene though.
Seeing as how I was in London on a Sunday I decided to venture out to the much hyped Brick Lane Market. Whilst the bagel stores around the area are great for a cheap breakfast (2 pound for a smoked salmon and cream cheese bagel anyone?), I was left disappointed by the market itself. Not that many stores, and the stores that weren’t selling anything particularly interesting. Plus it appears to be in a pretty seedy part of London.
However I was impressed by the Old Spitalfields Market, which is only a 5 minute walk away from Brick Lane Market. Plenty of vendors selling unique items and lots of places to eat, though a little pricier than Brick Lane.
